ESCAPE THE DESERT HEAT!

This narrated tour takes you through the Toiyabe National Forest, into a majestic alpine setting. We stop near the quaint Mt Charleston Village nestled in the big Ponderosa Pines. Then it is off to the Stables where a professional Cowboy will be waiting to take you on a ride of a lifetime. Each horse is carefully selected for a rider’s experience. The trail heads north up to the base of Lee Canyon with spectacular views of towering cliffs, fir, aspen and pine trees. Abundant wildlife is all through the area so keep a lookout for the elusive kit fox or mule deer. (1 ½ hour on horse)

Then it’s off to the Resort at Mt Charleston where you can stroll around the grounds and feed the ducks. Take a moment to visit “The Bistro”, which features Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate, and will also tempt your palate with freshly baked pastries, and light snacks.

The AM and PM Mt Charleston Horseback Rides include complimentary hotel pickup and return.

Reservation may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to tour time with no charge.

Reservations cancelled less than 24 hours prior, or no shows day of tour, will be charged full tour price to the card used for the reservation.

Maximum Weight 250 lbs

Must be 8 or older to ride horse

Under 18 must have parent or guardian present.

NO High Heels, Sandals, Flip Flops or Open Toed Shoes.

Sturdy shoes, sneakers or boots only.
