Hoover Dam Mountain Bike Tour
This Las Vegas Mountain Bike Tour will take you a leisurely downhill ride to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. After some simple instructions,you'll beging your ride.
There are stops along the way for pictures and explorations, and you can stop at the Lake Mead Visitor's Center to use the restrooms.
Summer and Fall water temperatures average 85 degrees, so you can ride your bike right to the water's edge and swim in the clear water to refresh yourself.
The historic part of this journey starts at the railroad tunnel, where trains used to transport concrete for the Hoover Dam construction project, 24 hours a day for 2 years! There are 5 tunnels, with views of Lake Mead between each one.
Continuing on, you'll end up at Hoover Dam, an engineering marvel. You'll have plenty of time to explore the visitor's center, take the Hoover Dam Tour (not included in price) and take in the views of the Colorado River.
Picnic lunch is included, and after lunch, we pack up the bikes, and you, and head back to Las Vegas, finishing up an unforgettable journey.
