If you're looking for a nice, calm and relaxing float down the Colorado River, this the tour for you. This is the best Las Vegas Rafting trip around, and it's great for all ages, and all group sizes.

Your adventure starts with a launch at Hoover Dam, giving you an incredible view of this engineering wonder. There is only one rafting tour in Las Vegas that offers this one of a kind view of Hoover Dam.

This tour operates year round. Hotel pick-up times are between 8 and 9am, depending on your hotel location.

This float trip is great for families and corporate groups. Special custom charters can be arranged for groups of 10 or more

This is a flat water rafting trip, and the rafts hold up to 40 people..but don't worry, this is not a 'cram 'em in' type of tour, they choose the raft sizes based on the numbers of people booked for that day. This is a leisurely float down this incredibly scenic area, great for all ages....and we mean ALL ages from babies to grandma. Keep in mind that you WILL be outside, in the sun, for about 3 hours, and there is a short walk to the raft launch area, a sloped path about 500 ft.

Rafting guides will tell you about the history and geology of the area, and you definitely want to be on the lookout for the wildlife that call this area home: Big Horn Sheep, and many varieties of reptiles and birds.

The raft stops on a beautiful beach for lunch-included of course, and ends at Willow Beach, where you will board a van or motorcoach for transportation back to Las Vegas. You will drive over the Hoover Dam, giving you a second chance to see this incredible wonder.

Your trip ends at Willow Beach, Arizona, 11.5 miles downstream from your launch, where an air-conditioned shuttle vehicle will meet you to take you back to your hotel via Hoover Dam.

Total time is approximately 5 1/2-6 hours, Rafting portion is approximately 3 hours long

Black Canyon "Postcard Tour"

Includes:

30 minute Rafting Trip starting and ending at Hoover Dam

See the Hoover Dam up close and personal on a shorter raft trip

You drive yourself to and from the Hoover Dam

Tour Times are 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm only

Black Canyon "Postcard" Price

For the Postcard Tour, meeting is at the Bureau of Reclamation Parking Lot (Large gold building, left hand side), 1.7 miles south of the Hacienda Hotel.

REQUIREMENTS

Under 18 Must have Parent or Guardian Present

No High Heels:Water Shoes or Sturdy Shoes/Sneakers Only

WHAT TO BRING

Shorts or pants and shirt (not cotton)-Dress in layers during cool weather or winter months-River sandals or water shoes-Swimsuit (wear under clothes)-Hat and sunglasses-Camera and plenty of film-Extra batteries-Towel (optional)-Spending cash for souvenirs & tips

PAYMENT POLICIES

Deposit of $17 per person is required upon booking for Black Canyon Rafting with and without transportation.

Full Payment of $45 is required upon booking for the Postcard Tour.

Deposit for regular tour, and full payment for Postcard Tour, wil show as a charge from Awesome Adventures.

Balance of payment for regular tour will be collected by Black Canyon/Willow Beach, on the day of the tour

Cancellations made 2+ days in advance will incur a processing fee of $2.00 per person. The remainder of the deposit will be refunded to the card used for the deposit.

Cancellations made less than 2 days in advance will forfeit deposit.
