  • The glass bridge is suspended 4,000 feet above the Colorado River on the very edge of the Grand Canyon.
  • Personal belongings, including cameras are not allowed on the bridge
  • To protect from dropping any items into the canyon or onto the glass, you will be asked to store your items in the provided lockers.
  • Photos of the Skywalk may be taken from the side with personal cameras. Professional photos of you on the bridge are available for purchase after your walk.
  • Children must be able to walk on their own on the glass bridge.

    Begin early in the morning with a ride to Diamond Creek. On the next segment of your journey, the Hualapai Indians take you through the Grand Canyon wilderness by shuttle bus to Diamond Creek where your 8-passenger raft and Hualapia Indian guide stand ready to take you through the seventh wonder of the world. Once on the Colorado, hold on as you raft for 40 miles over a series of white water rapids ranging from class 3 to 6, on a scale of 1 to 10. Be ready. You will get wet! Guaranteed! A brief stop at Travertine Canyon gives you an opportunity to hike into this secret side canyon and enjoy a piece of nature only accessible by river. After a delicious lunch, your raft winds its way down the canyon over smooth water to Grand Canyon West. You then board a helicopter for a breath-taking climb 4000 feet up to the Rim of the Grand Canyon above.

    Your adventure doesn't stop here, upon completion of your rafting tour you will take a Helicopter ride to the top rim of Grand Canyon West where your vehicle is ready to load for your departure.

    It is VERY important that you understand the itinerary for the Whitewater Rafting Overnight Package. You will drive yourself to Grand Canyon West to enjoy your Legacy Day Package, and then you will be going to the Hualapai Lodge in Peach Springs for your lodging. Rafting begins in Peach Springs the next morning, and ends at Grand Canyon West.

    You have two options when you choose the Whitewater Rafting Overnight Package:

    Option 1:

    Shuttle to Hualapai Lodge-Leave Rental Car at Grand Canyon West

    Anywhere from 2:00 pm -5:00 pm, you must board the shuttle from Grand Canyon West to Peach Springs, Arizona, where you will spend the night at the Hualapai Lodge on Historic Route 66. You will leave your car at Grand Canyon West. Pack a small bag for your overnight at the Lodge, the bag will go with you on the raft the next day. It is important not to pack too much, as you need to fit it all in the dry bag.

    OPTION 1 IMPORTANT HIGHLIGHTS

  • You MUST indicate on your reservation form that you will require the shuttle.
  • You MUST check in at the desk when you arrive at Grand Canyon West to find out what time the shuttle will depart
  • You must be at the Shuttle Location as instructed by Grand Canyon Employee. This shuttle IS not just for you, it is the shuttle for ALL rafters coming off the river and will NOT delay departure if you are late.
  • If you MISS the Shuttle, there is nothing we can do at that point, you will then have to choose Option 2.
  • You will leave your rental vehicle at Grand Canyon West
  • You can take ONE SMALL Bag per person, because it needs to fit in the dry bag on the rafting trip the next day.
  • You will spend the night at the Hualapai Lodge
  • The next day, you will take your whitewater rafting trip, and end at Grand Canyon West, where you left your vehicle.
  • You will depart from Grand Canyon West to Las Vegas in your rental vehicle.
  • Option 2:

    Drive Rental Car to Grand Canyon West-Drive Rental Car to Hualapai Lodge-Shuttle at end of Rafting back to your rental vehicle

    With this option, you can spend as much time as you wish at Grand Canyon West, then depart for the Hualapai Lodge at Peach Springs, AZ when you choose. You will have your rental vehicle and all your belongings with you. You will take the Whitewater Rafting Tour the next morning, ending at Garnd Canyon West, and take shuttle back to your rental vehicle at the Hualapai Lodge.

    OPTION 2 IMPORTANT HIGHLIGHTS

  • You must indicate on your reservation that you will NOT require transportation to the Hualapa Lodge.
  • You are free to spend as much time as you wish at Grand Canyon West, staying until closing if you choose.
  • You will depart Grand Canyon West when you are done exploring, and drive yourselves in your rental vehicle to the Hualapai Lodge. (map included in package)
  • You will spend the night at the Hualapai Lodge, and your vehicle will be WITH you so you don't need to worry about forgetting anything
  • The next day, you will take your whitewater rafting trip, and end at Grand Canyon West.
  • You will then board the shuttle at Grand Canyon West, that will take you back to the Hualapai Lodge where your rental vehicle is waiting.
  • This option will result in a longer drive back to Las Vegas at the end of your day, but gives you more time at Grand Canyon West the day before.

    Booking and tour operation Policies:

  • All Reservations Require a Credit Card Deposit of 20% of the entire reservation.
  • For Day Packages, Balance of reservation is due 7 days prior to tour date.
  • For Overnight and/or Rafting Packages, balance of reservation is due 30 days prior to tour date.
  • If deposits are not paid, and/or balance is not paid, according to the above policies, the reservation will be cancelled.
  • If a reservation for a Day Package is cancelled more than 7 days prior to tour date, deposit will be refunded, minus a 6% processing fee.
  • If a reservation for a Day Package is cancelled 7 or less days prior to tour date, no refunds will be issued.
  • If a reservation for an Overnight and/or Rafting Package is cancelled more than 30 days prior to tour date, deposit will be refunded, minus a 6% processing fee.
  • If a reservation for an Overnight and/or Rafting package is cancelled 30 days or less prior to tour date, no refunds will be issued.
  • Customer is responsible for reading all information and requirements pertaining to all tours booked, including all requirements for time, age, weight, and any other limitations.
  • GRAND CANYON

  • You will be traveling 14 miles down an unpaved road. It is however graded and maintained, we are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle. Please maintain the speed limit.
  • You will be receive your Tour vouchers when you check in at the Hertz Rental Counter.You may receive your vouchers via email if you have booked far enough in advance. These vouchers must be turned in at the Grand Canyon West Ticket Counter upon arrival
  • Awesome Adventures is NOT liable for lost vouchers, please treat them like cash and keep them safe until you turn them in at the Grand Canyon West Counter.
  • Grand Canyon West opens at 7 am and closes at 8 pm.
  • Skywalk opens at 7:30 am.
  • The Grand Canyon West Rim operates on Mountain Time. Please be sure to check your time difference prior to your arrival.
  • This is a DRY Reservation. No alcohol is permitted on the premises.
  • Car Rental requirements/policies:

  • You must be 21 or older to drive the rental vehicle
  • If you are under 25, there is an additional fee of $27.99
  • If you plan to have more than one Authorized Driver, there is an additional fee of $10.67 per driver. Additional Driver's must have Valid Driver's License.
  • Person renting the vehicle must have Valid Driver's License AND a Credit Card (in DRIVER'S NAME) for the vehicle deposit. A hold of $200 will be put on the credit card. NO CASH DEPOSITS.
  • Infant-Toddler-Booster Seats available for an additional fee of $13. Please choose type when making reservation to guarantee the correct child seat is available for your tour package.
  • Vehicle must be returned full of gas.
  • Shuttle Service may be available at the end of your adventure, but you must check with the Hertz counter at the time you get your rental vehicle
  • It is not guaranteed that shuttle service is available at any time, it is your responsibility to arrange for transportation back to your hotel
  • The Hertz Rental at the Hard Rock Hotel closes at 5 pm. If you are returning your vehicle after that time, there is a drop box located on the 7th Floor of the Hard Rock Hotel Parking Garage.
